Constantine the Great

Constantine the Great (February 27, 272 AD – May 22, 337 AD) won the Battle of the Milvian Bridge which led him on the path to become the sole emperor of the Roman Empire.

Battle of Milvian Bridge

Before the Battle of the Milvian Bridge Constantine claimed he had seen a cross emblazoned on the sun and hear a voice tell him, “In this sign conquer.” Actually there are a few different renditions of what Constantine saw and heard from Wikepedia:

Maxentius organized his forces—still twice the size of Constantine’s—in long lines facing the battle plain, with their backs to the river. Constantine’s army arrived at the field bearing unfamiliar symbols on either its standards or its soldiers’ shields. According to Lactantius, Constantine was visited by a dream the night before the battle, wherein he was advised “to mark the heavenly sign of God on the shields of his soldiers … by means of a slanted letter X with the top of its head bent round, he marked Christ on their shields.” Eusebius describes another version, where, while marching at midday, “he saw with his own eyes in the heavens a trophy of the cross arising from the light of the sun, carrying the message, In Hoc Signo Vinces or “with this sign, you will conquer”; in Eusebius’s account, Constantine had a dream the following night, in which Christ appeared with the same heavenly sign, and told him to make a standard, the labarum, for his army in that form. Eusebius is vague about when and where these events took place, but it enters his narrative before the war against Maxentius begins. Eusebius describes the sign as Chi (Χ) traversed by Rho (Ρ): ☧, a symbol representing the first two letters of the Greek spelling of the word Christos or Christ. In 315 AD a medallion was issued at Ticinum showing Constantine wearing a helmet emblazoned with the Chi Rho,[166] and coins issued at Siscia in 317/318 AD repeat the image. The figure was otherwise rare, however, and is uncommon in imperial iconography and propaganda before the 320s. Wkipedia article on Constantine and his army adopt the Greek letters for Christ’s initials: Chi Rho

Note: that in order to find the quote above in wikipedia you must scroll down to the second subtitle under the Civil Wars section titled: Constantine and his army adopt the Greek letters for Christ’s initials: Chi Rho

So in brief what the above quote says is that the sign which Constantine saw was basically the first two letters of the word Christos in Greek known as Chi Rio which areessentially a “P” with and “x” on top of it or visa versa. Note also that in Catholic Symbology at Catholic locations, such as cathedrals, a point inside of a circle is often placed underneath the Chi Rho.

Albert Mackey was a 33rd degree of Freemasonry. Every degree, 1 through 32, can be earned, but the 33rd degree cannot be earned. It can only be awarded. It is an honorary degree and it is the highest degree of Masonry. It is not only an honorary degree, but those who receive the 33rd degree of are at the top of command in Freemasonry. The truth is that 33rd degree masons make up all the top positions in the political power of the world including presidents and kings of many countries. Research it and you will see. This is what Albert Mackie said about the point inside of a circle represents in one of his books:

The point within the circle is an interesting and important symbol in Freemasonry. The SYMBOL IS REALLY A BEAUTIFUL BUT SOMEWHAT ABSTRUSE ALLUSION TO THE OLD SUN-WORSHIP, and introduces us for the first time to that modification of it, among the ancients as the WORSHIP OF THE PHALLUS. Albert G. Mackey. A Manual of the Lodge (New York Charles E. Merrill Company 1870 pg. 56)

So what he is saying is that circle with the point inside of it represents the worship of the sun, but of the male sex organ.
