How do We Overcome Sin? Ultimately, trusting in God is the answer to that question, but how do we trust in God? Trust is very akin to faith. As a matter of fact, thesaurus.com lists faith as a synonym of trust. If we have faith in something, then it’s like saying we believe it will work and/or do what we expect it to do. If we have faith in God, then we will believe that trusting in what He tells us will succeed in the object of what we are trusting in His word for. So how do we get faith?
